What Does All This Mean For Health-Care Practitioners?
This series has explored the importance of choice in health-care, what options are available to the public in terms of health-care they can access, and restrictions, possible or threatened, on that choice.
This week, in our final part of this series, we look at practitioners of health-care therapies and what all of this means for them and the services they offer.
Practitioners and students of Complementary Medicine or Complementary to Medicine therapies should be aware of changes in this field, as in studying to be part of the health-care sector or already practising within it, means you are a part of a fundamental service provided to the public.
At Evolve College, we teach that the most important aspect of that service is the quality and integrity it is provided with, on top of the of-course exceptional skills and knowledge we educate our students in and support them to acquire. Technical prowess, however, is not all there is, for without professionalism, integrity and quality, in our view, the service lacks.
Having satisfied those standards, and being awarded an Evolve College qualification, students and or practitioners should stay abreast of changes in the industry (which can be introduced by government and or industry bodies) and, for example their potential ramifications on things like:
- Regulations affecting practice
- The availability of private health insurance rebates or any other concessions or entitlements that may be enacted in the future.

Of course, no statement can be made at this point about any of the above and definitive effects that are expected. However, as per our usual style, we want to keep our broad readership up to date as to changes and potential changes, and we will continue to do so.
This concludes our series on health-care and the importance of choice.
